Proudly supports three causes associated within our industry.


Haunters Against Hate had its genesis in some very negative speech from a group who reviews haunted attractions in the Ohio Valley area referencing the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting tragedy in the summer of 2016. As a group, we decided to take a stand in opposition to such speech; and more importantly, in support of our LGBTQ actors, staff, friends and family. Haunters Against Hate stands by, always watching for hate speech or discrimination against anyone on basis of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression and responding appropriately: 

Because HATE is the scariest thing of all.

Now Haunters Against Hate has decided to take something that was formed out of negativity and turn it into something good by giving back to various LGBT organizations throughout the U.S. If you know of a particular LGBT org that could benefit from donations, you can contact them via their contact page and let them know that "Thanatos Sent You"!

Don’t Be A Monster is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works alongside Haunted Attractions in the United States. We are the largest nonprofit organization in the Haunted Attraction community. We offer free, unique and entertaining anti-bullying assemblies for students in 4th-10th grade. Our mission is simple: we work to educate and empower youth to be leaders around diversity, inclusiveness, and show them how to stand up for their friends and peers. 


Our assemblies are delivered in the months of late September through November, during National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month and the Halloween season. Don’t Be A Monster’s program is highly effective: 98.14% of schools surveyed post-presentation find our material beneficial and memorable for their students. 


We believe in a positive, proactive approach. Students leave our presentations equipped to have educated and empathetic discussions with their peers. For more information, reach out to us at info@dontbeamonster.org.

In 2019, Ravenscroft Manor is a haunted attraction that was created in part with Shido-Kan Karate Dojo & Thanatos Productions as a fundraiser.  All proceeds go to benefit an all girls Scout Troop, Troop 259 of Mahwah, New Jersey.


The Thanatos Productions Team takes great pride in not just supporting but designing and supplying this excellent fundraiser.  Transforming a karate dojo into a full fledged, multi room haunted attraction complete with animatronics, special effects and live actors consisting of the scouts themselves. During the process, the scouts are taught all of the behind the scenes secrets on how to make a run a haunted attraction.
